I was sad to hear about elizabeth taylor's death. I've always admired her sassy courageous type personality. I got the chance to see her in person years ago when she made an appearance at macy's herald square in manhattan to promote her fragrance. I was working in the store at the time as a visual display artist on the main floor so I didn't have to fight the crowds to get up close. she was married to the blonde construction worker and I remember they wore matching glittery looking black jackets. when she made her entrance, the crowd went wild. she had such charisma. she looked genuinely happy and she looked radiant. she said a few words, answered a few questions, it was just fun. rest in peace dear elizabeth.
go here to see some touching photos of a true legend.

She was a Legend. Too bad that she passed away.
those flowers remind one of her violet eyes
she was something else!!
how cool that you got to see her in person
You were lucky to have seen such a great icon in person! She was really gorgeous and seemed like a really nice lady. I think she had a great life but sad to see it end at 79. She seemed to be suffering so was best for her....she will be missed.
There is no one that will take her place. They just don't make them like her anymore. PGma
Elisabeth Taylor was really great.
