today, while looking back at theses pictures I could almost taste the clam chowder pictured below. it was so good. "the lobster roll" is actually the name of the restaurant everyone must pass as they drive further into the town of montauk - but for some reason, a sign that reads "lunch" sits atop the eatery. and although it's a bit pricey, once a year we splurge and eat dinner here. the food is good and the atmosphere is casual - perfect for vacationers.

It is nearly midnight here and now you've made me very, very hungry...no chance of getting anything as good as your photo now!
Oh, yum! Hope I get to eat here when I'm in Montauk next month.
