and on the other side of the gardens, (see yesterday's post) I came upon this idyllic scene which turns out to be perfect for louis la vache's "sunday bridges meme". please go there if you'd like to see other bridges from around the world. happy sunday everyone!
p.s. this photo is a fun one to click on to enlarge too.
Such a great photo... and I did enlarge it. Loved the floating things on the water. It's sooo green outside here on the East coast this year. We are getting to the point of needing a bit more rain though just to keep the crunch out of the grass.
Gorgeous, especially enlarged. All the greens, the trees and their reflection, with the charming brown bridge, are yummy enough as a serene desktop image.
What a lovely location for this bridge. It has touches of the Japanese footbridges. The reflections of the trees in the water is so nice. Beautiful photography. Genie
You have heard of LI & its many stereotypes? You wonder if they may be true but wish not to risk visiting in the event that they are. Be bold then & visit me daily & I promise I will show you many sides of Long Island that you will be both amazed & inspired by.

Romantic bridge, I first thought there algae in the water, then I realise you have such a great reflection of the trees.
The bridge is just about the only thing that's not green in the photo. Nice shot.
What a wonderful image Lily, green and serene.

Beautiful. I love gardens like that with trails and small bridges.
So much green! Lovely.
Perfect frame for any event!

I saw this, and immediately thought of Monet standing where you were standing, and painting a series of "treatments"...
A little spot of brown in a jungle of green! Very serene!
