brooklyn bridge

yesterday I had the good fortune of meeting up with two of my cyber friends alexa, from "the road is mine" and bibi, from "a yankee in belgrade". the plan was to meet up at the brooklyn bridge where alexa, who resides in brooklyn would walk with us across the bridge and give us a little tour. if you've never been to brooklyn, this is a great way to spend an afternoon checking it out. it's even more fun if you go with nice people who are such excellent company. bibi's friend marianne came along for the tour too, so there were four of us with cameras stopping every two minutes to take a picture. & I'm not sure but I think we may have convinced her to start her own blog.

here we are discussing a map of nyc.

Sounds like a great time and I love that angle of the bridge. I hope to walk across it someday.
The photo of the arch of the Brooklyn Bridge was truly awe-inspiring, and the next photo was - well - I try to use Google Maps as much as possible.

Hi, Lily! Marianne and I both had great fun with you two yesterday! Wish we could see each other more often, but I guess that's what blogs are for in a way; they enable us to stay in touch and view each other's lives. My Brooklyn Bridge photo will be up in July.....

After seeing a true blogger's dedication, who could resiste becoming a blogger? Next time I'm in NY, I'll have to go by the Brooklyn Bridge.
