Beautiful Bees

Does anyone know what type of flower this is? I came across it saturday in the teaching garden at the Farmingdale State College. There were so many bees buzzing around this flower patch, I was hoping I would catch one in a snapshot. Luckily I caught two! please click on this photo to get a better view of them. A beautiful flower, and I think maybe Carletta is right about the Angel's Trumpet but don't hold me to that either.

Yes, I would give Angel's Trumpet a heads up. It looks like that to me and the bees would like it and I suspect the hummingbirds do too. I don't think it grows here where I live owing to the cold winters. It might not be hardy. I don't know as I have never seen it here.
