you can see all of the traffic was on my side of the bridge enabling me to get a close-up shot of the tappan zee as I sat in traffic. please pop on over tosan francisco bay daily photo to check out the "sunday bridge series". thanks for hosting louis la veche!
And here you can see a great shot through the window of my office where I worked from 1993 to 2001. I believe this was taken in late afternoon when I came off the day shift and began my evening shift.
I feel like I heard something about the Tappan Zee being one of the worst NY bridges for traffic. On the bright side, it gave you a chance to get this great shot.
You have heard of LI & its many stereotypes? You wonder if they may be true but wish not to risk visiting in the event that they are. Be bold then & visit me daily & I promise I will show you many sides of Long Island that you will be both amazed & inspired by.

Great shot, Lily! It really captures the traffic - even if the traffic was not moving, giving you the opportunity for the shot, it still has motion.
«Louis» thanks you for your contribution to Sunday Bridges.
terrific shot! good thing you have your camera with you.:p
Yup! I like this shot too!
Great shot, the structure is fascinating to just sit and study.
Such a great bridge in a great city.
Best regards from Argentina

Brings back nice memories of growing up... I was on the OTHER side of the TZB. :)
Nice shot, too bad you were on the 'dreaded side' :-) PGma

Cool! Another truss bridge.I really like these types of bridges. They look so "bridge-y".
