it's hard to capture a quiet moment in manhattan but these two just seemed to be in their own little world, somehow isolated from all of the surrounding hustle and bustle.

Vehicles are a natural for MYM and this picture is fabulous! As wonderful as Long Island is, glad you head over to the "island" on occasion!

In many countries they are being banned.
In India you find them only in Calcutta now.

I am not sure how I feel about the pedi-cabs .. EXTREMELY expensive ...riding in insane traffic ... no A/C ... but you do get to see and be seen .. neat shot

This is great. It reminds me of driving my semi and listening to Howard Stern. When Chairman Jiang Zemin was speaking at the United Nations, Howard Stern said, "Somebody call that guy and tell him I want him to pull me around Manhattan in a rickshaw."

There were no rickshaws when I was there but I think they look so cool in such a multicultural city!
