down corn neck road in block island

crescent beach lies just beyond the shrubs on the left and below is a view of the dune grasses adjacent to the beach further south on this road. if you look carefully or click on the photo below you can see some children playing on the paths in the dunes. tomorrow I will post pics of the beach itself.
for the most part the weather was hot with grey skies while I was there last week. these photos were taken just before I left. no worries though - block island is such a beautiful quiet naturalistic type of place I find it enchanting no matter what the weather.
