when I first snapped this photo I was so busy trying to capture the sun's reflection I didn't notice the heart shaped rock until I saw it on my laptop. if you'd like to see more reflections or join in the fun, please check out james of newtown area photo's wonderful 'weekend reflections' meme. thanks james!
Lovely image. You know, I have a whole folder of pictures labeled 'rocks'. This wkend. I was visiting an extended family member's home for the first time and she had a picture of 2 beach rocks on the wall. Simple but beautiful. Come to find out it was a painting. I studied it and studied it, and no way did it look like a painting, it was so perfect. I love rocks.! ~karen
You have heard of LI & its many stereotypes? You wonder if they may be true but wish not to risk visiting in the event that they are. Be bold then & visit me daily & I promise I will show you many sides of Long Island that you will be both amazed & inspired by.

Beautiful clarity. The heart shaped rock is an added bonus too.
Love the stillness of the water and the rocks are wonderful with all their subtle colors.
Love the greens.

LH, I think there are people who collect and display heart shaped rocks, there might even be a Flickr stream. This photo is really special.
