so please, stay as cool as you can. I hear the temperature is supposed to go up to 100 degrees. At least it's not too humid out. I took this photo while standing in the water at robert moses beach yesterday. I'm glad I made the time to go. unfortunately I wound up sleeping on the beach instead of walking on the beach! did you know it costs $10 for admission nowadays? if you get an empire pass, it's $65 for the year which allows you to visit state parks all over new york. I opted for the pass. check out the above link for more info about where to get one.
to share a part of your world or just see more of others, please go to "that's my world tuesday". thanks to klaus for hosting with his team of helpers, sandy, wren, fishing guy and sylvia.

I would love to be there right now.
About fifteen years ago, I had to spend the night in Rockaway Beach on business. I walked to the beach around dark. No one was there. It was probably closed, and I was probably breaking the law, but I went in the water anyway. It was my only time in the ocean. Walked around town until midnight that night. Lovely people.
Lily: May it cool down enough to be comfortable.
Havent been to a NY beach in so long I dont remember! Looks nice and breezy
aloha,

The Sound? That is a beautiful beach shot. I have been poolside this week, and I am aching for the ocean. Thanks for this view!
And thanks for your comment on my post.
Beautiful! I can almost smell the salt.
100degrees? that's even hotter than here in Singapore and we're nearer to the Equator Line! Imagine having an all year long this weather.....but I'm not complaining.
Long time no see...
Hot there - here too plus very humid!
Have a great day!

What a contrast - you are sweltering and «Louis» was socked in with fog! The fog was so heavy 4th of July night, that «Louis» couldn't see the fireworks show on San Francisco's Embarcadero. The sound of it, however, rolled across the Bay like a young war...
;-D
Such beautiful beach and a great world.
Have a nice day.
That is pretty hot, even by tropical standards... good excuse to enjoy the beach though!
It's hot here in Michigan, but not as bad as what you folks on the east coast are experiencing. Stay cool, and enjoy that refreshing, wavy water.
Riis Park Beach is free but you have to pay for parking. Coney Island is also free but good luck finding blanket space ..it is packed with people..lol!
