photos can be deceiving. didn't the street in yesterday's post look so quiet? this photo was taken from the same corner just seconds later. as you can see, it was a lot busier at this intersection than my first photo leads you to believe. if you'd like to gaze at more wondrous skies from all around the world or if you'd like to add your own sky, please visit theskywatch friday meme, thanks to klaus and his team, sandy, wren, fishing guy, and sylvia.
And what a gorgeous sky it is! Fantastic capture, Lily! Almost feel as though I'm back there for real and not just in my dreams! I love it! Hope you have a terrific weekend! Enjoy!
Do you ever watch cumulus clouds scudding over a tall building and feel like it's tipping over? We used to stand near our concrete silo on the farm and feel like that.
You have heard of LI & its many stereotypes? You wonder if they may be true but wish not to risk visiting in the event that they are. Be bold then & visit me daily & I promise I will show you many sides of Long Island that you will be both amazed & inspired by.

That is a gorgeous sky and a wonderful view. It really strikes me how clean the air looks vs. so many other cities around the world.
Great shot.
Sydney - City and Suburbs
I find it strange that sometimes the same scene looks different when you turn the camera just a little bit.
Goodness, NYC traffic looks just as bad as ours. But we don't have that funky-looking police car! :D
Love the angle .. you captured a perfect cityscape!

Love those big old fluffy clouds!
wow, awesome shot. That must be the New Yorker Hotel?
I like how distorted the shot is because of the height. Great job.
