a mellow yellow pedicab
I found this while continuing my walk down 32nd street (see yesterday's post) towards penn station. I love how it's painted the same taxi cab yellow as a typical nyc cab is.

But I have some of questions.
They are allowed to park their "cabs" at both roadway and sidewalk?
They could get extra fare in the case their customer was "Sumo" wrestler?
Are they free in long Island?

Gayle, I've only seen a few men ride these & they always look extremely fit & are always carrying two if not three passengers.
Nori, I'm not sure what the rules are. this is the first time I've seen one parked & the driver was nowhere to be found. Perhaps he was inside taking a break!
As far as the size of their passengers, I hope the driver charges accordingly.

Personally I wish more people would use bicycles in NYC. It would be much safer, healthier & cleaner.
