stairway to heaven

this photo was taken recently while walking on the beach in montauk. there are some very expensive ocean front homes at the top of this staircase. I was standing at the waters edge as I shot this photo. personally I would settle for a home within walking distance to the sea.

Love your title, Lily! But I would like to see a little sturdier staircase! Gorgeous summer skies! I'm not within walking distance of our beach, but it's only a five minute drive and I love it! Fun post for the day! Hope you have a terrific weekend! Enjoy!

Oh yes, I've seen those homes! Beach erosion from storms wreck havoc out there.
I'd like mu house to be on a solid rock cliff overlooking the ocean... it's all a dream. of course.

These beach shots with the fence and stairs are great and remind me of 'Something's Gotta Give', a film I love.
