fog in may

please click on photo to see foggy details
despite the recent bursts of sunshine, we have been experiencing an inordinate amount of fog in the morning hours. I don't mind the fog because it makes me feel like I am in one of the lovely new england states. this photo was taken on the northern state parkway. for more interesting photos of what is going on in other parts of the world, please go here and visit the meme, "that's my world" hosted by klaus & his team, sandy, ivar, wren, fishing guy and louise.

I like fog in the country landscape, which creates that soft romantic atmosphere. Of course fog is not good when we have to travel by car! :-)

Nice capture, with the exit lane right there. I know it's a danger, but I love fog. Quiet and mysterious and dreamy.

World looks so different when driving through the fog. New and exciting.

I've been to many parts of Long Island, both pretty and not so pretty. The Hamptons are in Long Island - how bad can it be?
Great photos.

Fog is so romantic. We have quite a few foggy mornings in the fall when it rolls in off the river.

Its very pretty but it can be dangerous if the other drivers arent used to those conditions .. so keep an eye open!

Nice photo. I always enjoy that misty look. It takes off the hard edges and makes everything seem soft and dream-like.

I absolutely adore fog! It makes me so overwhelmingly filled with pure joy just to be in fog or see it!

Enough for for "atmosphere" but not so much as to make driving hazardous.
