a hill with a view, and some hope...

please click on this photo for a spectacular view!

last night found me sleeping way before bedtime so I never posted for today! I'm afraid I am fighting off a bug that has been traveling through my house. I feel hopeful today though. I woke up late and feel much better. the next dilemma was, what to post? perusing my photos from my recent vermont getaway I thought I had to share this one. when my family & I found this hill to go sledding on, I stood at the top of it and took a deep breath taking in the fresh air and scenery. I guess that is what they mean by breathtaking!
anyway, today I am participating in a photo hunt hosted by tnchick. The theme for today is hope. I find nature in general hopeful. where do you find hope? for more hopeful posts, check out the woman who started it all right here.

A lovely post - and yes, Nature is what brings us hope.
It's also Shadow Shot Sunday, and this one would qualify.
Hope you don't come down with that bug!

The little church in the distance is so fitting in the scene.

I'm taking a deep inhale, too, while looking at this photo. I love being outdoors and find hope getting outside of my four walls.

I'd love to visit Vermont someday. I just love New England, but have only been to Boston and parts of CT.

I hope you feel better today. Those winter bugs are nasty!

Nice picture. Clear, crisp, and open - a great measure of what hope should be.

That's a beautiful shot, and it is very hopeful because it shows how not every scrap of land has to be filled in by huge expensive housing. Instead, these vermontians have left the field as God intended it -a place for fun and nature.

Howdy from Central New York! That's a lovely photo you have. Add about 10 inches of snow and that's us, lol.

My Photo Hunters is up today. I 'HOPE' you get the chance to visit and leave your link.

thanks for the well wishes.I feel so much better.I think the key was the extra sleep. My son might have actually had the flu, so I consider myself lucky(knock on wood)!
I hope everyone remembers to get their rest too!
