aftermath

walking priscilla through our neighborhood the other day, I found what I thought the perfect subject for this saturday's photohunt. this weeks topic is "aftermath". all over long island people are leaving their christmas trees outside by their curb strips. this year we spent a few extra dollars to get a frasier. the guy at the tree place said they last extra long. sure enough, our tree is doing quite well. I probably won't take it down until sunday.
if you are interested in other "aftermath" photos, please go here.

I love the photo of the dog sniffing the tree. LOL! ;-) Great 'Aftermath' photo.

There's nothing sadder than a Christmas Tree waiting at the curb for the dump truck.

Excellent Choice for this week's theme! Wow ... it's amazing how long trees can last in some parts of the country. Here in Southern California most trees are out for recycling by New Year's Day to prevent fire hazards. Thanks for visiting Happily Retired Gal earlier.
Hugs and blessings,

I hope all those christmas trees get reused/recycled somehow as there sure would be lots of them!
