easter plants

please click on photo to see sign details up close

this sunday is easter so it is not uncommon to find easter plants at places like the grocery store and garden nurseries. it is also not unusual for makeshift road side stands to sell plants as well, much like what you find around christmas time if you are looking for a christmas tree.
I don't ever remember seeing a sign for easter plants as carefully handmade as this one.there is something I find quite appealing about its design. it looks really simple and old fashioned.
so, did you enjoy the weather this weekend?

Lily, you have well photographed a pleasant sign for Easter plants.
This weekend I have been to the mountains. The skiing season is still open at the 1300m: incredible but true, the snow is quite good and the ski runs are crowded! :-)

Ha, Daryl, at first glance, I thought it said Easter Pants, too! Like The Men had had an uprising, no more letting women have all the fun with the easter bonnet with all the goo-gah on it! I saw crazy pastel madras plaid pants for men...but alas, we were wrong...it's as clear as day on the sign...easter PLANTS. You know, lillies and hyacinths and stuff.
