tree shadows

driving down pulaski road in greenlawn, I passed this impressive wall of trees and noticed they cast a shadow. happily, the sun also happened to be shining in my cameras direction creating this colorful effect. for more interesting shadow shots, please go here and visit hey harriet. did everyone get a chance to enjoy yesterdays sunshine and warmer temperatures ?

Wow! It's pinky/purple sunshine! Looks like it's rainy fluffy fairy floss! And how green is that grass!?! Love the colours in this. What a happy shadow shot :)

Oh I think fairy loss may be called by another name over there. Cotton Candy maybe? I'm sure you knew what I was referring to anyway. Happy Sunday!

That is a striking effect. Never had the purple coloring appear in a picture. It's exciting, and very pretty.

That's a gorgeous effect. Make me think of the song, "I'm Walking on Sunshine!"

Well, that's my old neck of the woods.
Our children went to Harborfields school district and we lived in Centerport.
We have totally swapped lives.
Love the shadow.
What a nice picture..looks beautiful. I am trying to enjoy every drop of sunshine/warm weather.
Happy SSS.

Don't you love how your camera does strange things like lens flares that can either ruin a shot or make ti so much better? I was just going through my photos to choose a few to post over the next few weeks ---and one of my shadow shots also has an odd lens flare that makes it interesting.
