it was a small bridge and I don't even know the name of it but it was on grand avenue. when I looked it up on google maps I could see that it crossed over a waterway that led out to the east river. this post is dedicated to'sunday bridges' thanks to louis la vache fromsan francisco bay daily photo. please visit louis if you'd like to join in the fun.
I don't know what this bridge is either—but I like it! And I can relate to Andy's comment (my brother got the erector set, not me) and Ann's (I loved that show!).
You have heard of LI & its many stereotypes? You wonder if they may be true but wish not to risk visiting in the event that they are. Be bold then & visit me daily & I promise I will show you many sides of Long Island that you will be both amazed & inspired by.

marvelous shot! were you driving across this bridge when you took the photo?:p
hee hee...
Does this qualify as a drive-by shooting?
In any case, «Louis» appreciates your contribution to Sunday Bridges.
Beautiful photo!
Have a great Sunday:)
I love steel structures. Nice shot, were you driving then?
When I look at the bridge building material it reminds me of the Meccano Set I had when I was a kid.
Great photo... looking into the sun.
Good one...I like the sun shining through. I see you do drive-by/drive-thru shootings, too!
Nice! The sun is having fun here. I really like it.
Lily, that must be a bridge near me. Do you see the Empire State building in the distance? At least I think it's the empire state... :)
When I was 20, my friends and I drove round and round New York without a map. I saw bridges like this. I thought of Welcome back Kotter.
You may be right, the bauble could have caught my reflection, I never thought of it though. Thanks,
Good one.
Were you driving when you took this photo? :)
Thanks everyone!
& Nope, I wasn't driving, just a passenger in the front seat.
