priscilla plays in the snow

yesterday after shoveling out the driveway with his dad, ian went into the backyard and shoveled a maze like path in front of the garage for priscilla. as you can see, she loved it. we got sixteen inches of snow in farmingdale starting sunday night continuing into monday morning. the winds were fierce. at one point the weather channel showed the center of the storm directly over farmingdale. that might explain why I felt the house shake not once but twice on sunday night. in fact, as I write this (sometime around midnight on monday evening) it's still fairly windy out.

That's a lot of storm and a lot of snow, but Priscilla sure seems to be enjoying it, and running around fast enough to keep her little self warm!
Hope you have a warm and happy new year.

Oh, Priscilla, you sweet thing! She's so adorable, Lily ~ what a bundle of joy. Doesn't she love it!! I've been thinking of you and Alexa and hoping all's ok there for you. Glad to know you're safe and sound, if windblown and chilly.

That must have been a terrible feeling (the house shaking)

That was a real labor of love on Ian's part, and Priscilla obviously enjoyed it—up to a point! Smart dog—knows when it's time to go in. Lily, did you hear the thunder during the storm? (Maybe that's when the house was shaking.)

Oh, that is so funny!! And what a great idea to do! That's a lot of snow. But I remember always having a lot of snow when I was little.
