both of these photos were taken monday when the snow was mostly all fresh and white. by tuesday this was no longer the case as people made their way back to work and their cars dirtied the roads turning them into a slushy black mess.

Serious snow there, no kidding.
My car may or may not be snowed in. I haven't been well enough to need it, so my husband hasn't tried to dig it out yet, but he thinks it will be fine.
I hope. LOL

Nothing beats the beauty of fresh, clean snow on the ground.
I can certainly empathise with you - the North Yorkshire coast here in UK where we live has been particularly hard hit by the snow. Good when it clears me thinks.

That's what I am calling Snow!
Lots of snow and so pretty. We are getting snow this morning, about 6 inches so far and still falling.
I have little sympathy... hahaha! This is a typical shot for Maine Dec.-April most years.
Snow is pretty as a picture but I'm glad I don't have to contend with it every winter. Stay warm and dry and Happy New Year.
