a wall of snow

these mountains of snow are all over the place. we're supposed to have a thaw the next few days. I wonder how long it will be until it's all gone. my sister-in-law said we'll be seeing the snow on the ground until march.

I would like just a little bit of your snow. Not a lot...but a little dusting would be nice.

Wow, serious snow. But also serious snow control on Long Island. You have bare streets. We have today's light snow on top of snow from weeks ago that turned to ice. Dreadful driving conditions, but I guess that's what we get for living on a side street in a small town. LOL
Great photo.

Lily, much snow there indeed! In Turin no snow at the moment, but in the mountains, over the 1200 m, the ski runs are very good.
Season's Greetings to you and your family!

That puts our 8 inches of snow to shame. I haven't seen snow piled like that since I was a child in Utah.

Nice one, Lily. Your cropping of the tree makes it seem like a snow plow driver giving the touchdown sign!!!

oh my goodness. The kids must be having a grand old time, though?

I've seen snowmen and snowforts all over the place. And I'm sure Central Park is mayhem!
It was miserable a few days here in Brooklyn, Lily! This was the most inconvenient snowstorm I can remember for a long time!
