driving on new york avenue you can see many interesting shops that you don't normally see in most towns. this one in particular caught my eye. This is a funny one! I've heard of hub cap stores out west. Never thought there might be one right here. That's quite a little operation he has going here. Great picture.

That's an interesting little shop. Not what this gal from the other coast thinks of when I think of Long Island but my vision is colored by my husband who lived for a time in Forest Hills. This looks like it is much farther out.

I havent seen one of those since I was a teen ... there was one near my friend's father's business in the South Bronx ... nice shot!
Now this is a store I will never find here. Cool image a something so local.
