I suspect everyone has some sort of morning ritual whether they realize it or not. I usually go out to get my coffee at some point. long island doesn't have many places where you can hang out and enjoy a cup of joe, so starbucks does very well here. I've always admired their lighting and use of glass to let in the light. this was a nice scene to enter after leaving the muggy grey skies and concrete suburban landscape outside.
to share a part of your world or just see more of others, please go to "that's my world tuesday". thanks to klaus for hosting with his team of helpers, sandy, wren, fishing guy and sylvia

Yes, Starbucks is great and we certainly enjoy them here in the northwest! Great shot, Lily! As always! Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy!

Starbucks is everywhere here. we have one in my office building, and 4 more around the area. i usually brew my own coffee in the morning and go to Starbucks after lunch.:p
I can smell the coffee.......
No local coffee shops? I grind my own beans in the morning - can't leave the house without my caffeine.
Good photo - doesn't look like a Starbucks somehow.
Starbucks has earned its success for sure—and what a good choice for That's My World. They are everywhere!
I try to boycott Starbucks in favor of local delis, but I can understand if there's nothing else around. Their coffee is always way too strong for me.
Hope you're having a good start to the week!
hee hee...
As he reads this, «Louis» is having a cup of own coffee. Gotta keep the "Caffeine Meter" outta the danger zone...
This is a fantastic place to spend some time !!Great !!
I smell the coffee... without which I would not survive a single day! lol
Mac Donald's is another favorite morning spot. Lots of seniors like going there in the AM. Pgma.
Our Starbucks is one place that does really well too. I think it's because they do have such a cozy atomosphere. You've got a great shot of it here.
Starbucks is everywhere out here as well as many local cafes. I've never really like Starbucks and it's always too crowded so I usually opt for little cafes or my local 711 right down the street which has an amazing Colombian brew.
I eat my breakfast and have my morning tea at work. But I guess that is a sort of ritual as well.
This looks like a nice place, although I'm typically not too fond of Starbucks.
