I have been driven in NY, but have never driven. I think I'd like to keep it this way. Afraid I'd get terribly lost. Good bridge shot!

I think this photo helps make New York City seem friendly, a place I wouldn't be afraid to drive through. I grew up thinking cities were very dangerous, scary places but down under the bridge like this NYC seems as safe as almost anywhere.

Nice, Lily ... feels like I've been there although probably on foot or in a cab.

@EG Wow, NY is a friendly place ... just bigger than most of our villages -:)

Now there's a familiar sight! Thousands drive under that bridge every day, but I wonder who drives over it (back to Google Maps for the answer to that one).

I drove in NYC once. I can't remember where. I think it may have been too traumatic. :-)

I'm sure this bridge gets alot of use!
Nice photo Lily! Did you know all the bridges of the Belt Parkway around Brooklyn have to be rebuilt as they are not up to code? Major re-construction has begun and it will take years to complete...sigh

Very cool - just a glimpse of this reminds me of the drive from the airport to the city & makes me really wanna go back to NYC & environs soon.
