I really didn't expect this to come out so close to what the sun and sky actually looked like when I photographed this scene. my only explanation is that montauk is a magical place. go here to see other skies from all around the world.

How beautiful! It is very hard to capture the sun and the moon in photography but you seem to have done an excellent job. I like how you can see the sun's rays in the lower left-hand corner.
