old east hampton

not the towns official name, though this photograph is of something very old inside the town of east hampton. can anyone guess what this is? if you can't, tomorrow I will post a picture that will help make complete sense out of it. if you are like me, you will have no idea. either way, please humor me by taking a wild guess.

How about the insides of a huge clock

Looks like a windmill to me. If it was a water mill the wheels would likely be vertical.

My guess is the inside of a Windmill.

Interesting. I see a cogwheel, so it could be the inside of a wooden clock.

Wild guess: Candle holders? Remember, it's wild. I'm sure it's a windmill as the others have guessed. ;-)

The wheels of the rack of the torture chamber at the DNC to keep the Hillary delegates in line? ;-)

I am so happy to hear everyones funny, creative ideas. I can see why you think it could be candle holders Paz or like Pietro said, the inside of a clock. It is a very up close cropped shot, so one can not really be too sure...

oh & Louis, now that is using your imagination!

Pietro probably said it. I'm not that smart. ;-)

Looking forward to the answer.
