golden sky in suburbia

do you think this has enough sky in it to qualify for a skywatch friday post? I took this photo only three or four days ago. I felt a tremendous sense of urgency to post this when I happened upon this very tree again, only to find out that every single leaf had already fallen off of it! this seems to be happening all over long island lately, trees loaded with abundant golden yellow leaves falling to the ground in what seems like an instant. I guess that is why they call this time of year around these parts, fall !

I was just thinking the same thing about the leaves. My neighbor's tree had these beautiful reddish-yellow leaves on them and 2 days later, there's nothing but branches.
Book Hampton looks like a fun place, watching from a safe blogging distance might be safer for my little purse.

I went thru Central Park the other day in a cab and was dying to jump out and snap photos. Fall lasts only a second!
